My name is Katie and I, like many people, just love holidays! Although I tend to spend a bit too much cash. So have been looking around to see if I could find something much cheaper! I tried a couple but they were absolutely rubbish!
I cam across Monarch Holidays which a friend told me about and I absolutely love them! So I've made a quick website to share some stuff about them. I hope you enjoy.
Who are Monarch Holidays? Well they’re a holiday,
online travel agent company who specialise in a few
massively popular holiday destinations! 16 in total
to be exact and they’re all sunny hotspots of the
world, so if you’re looking for a skiing holiday
it’ll be best to look elsewhere. Surprisingly for a
smaller company, their prices are amazingly
competitive.
Unlike
other small companies though, they offer their
customers their own branded flights rather than
paying another company to fly for them. This takes
prices down over time and is a perfect business
model. When I was on a flight with them, the service
was probably the best I’ve had and that includes
some of the much, much bigger operators. I won’t
name them here though.
They fly from 4 main U.K airports and these are
Luton, Manchester, London Gatwick and Birmingham.
That’s a great variety and should be easily
accessible to everyone. One last bit of news on the
overview of Monarch Holidays, they have been running
for over 20 years. They do have a lot of experience
on their hands.
How about a safari holiday? You wouldn’t expect a
small company to be able to offer this type of
holiday, but they do! The best place to go for a
safari is Kenya and of course this is where they go.
You can go for 7 nights from roughly £350! That’s
just an amazing price, of course you can spend more,
probably about double that. It just goes to show
what holiday operators are capable of doing for
their customers.
This isn’t the most exciting aspect, but it’s
definitely worth mentioning. Monarch holidays offer
competitive travel insurance. I’m sure you know the
benefits of travel insurance, but let’s have a quick
run-down of why you would want it and what could
happen if you don’t!
If the worst happens and you need medical attention,
you are either going to be paying so much to go to a
foreign hospital and having medical attention.
Alternatively you’ll have to fly back home and as we
all know, flights on short notice can be very
expensive! Certain types of insurance don’t cover
you for a particular type of holiday. For instance,
I mentioned here a safari holiday, but different
types of insurance won’t cover this. If you book
your insurance with them, it will be customised to
fit the holiday you’re going on!
The little things can make or break a holiday and
here, you get all the little extras you need! This
comes in the form of airport long-term car parking
so you can save on taxi bills to the airport.
Monarch Holidays have their own airport lounge at
all 4 of their U.K airport departure points. Chill
out before the start of your holiday. Forget the
mass crowds in the airports and relax with a glass
of wine or perhaps even champagne!
Lastly, they offer a car hire service to most of
their holiday destinations including their own
insurance. That basically covers everything and it’s
just great to know that one company will manage your
entire holiday.
I hope you’ve found my small guide helpful to
finding about Monarch Holidays and I really hope you
get a chance to use them, they’re definitely well
worth it.
